Baked Fried Chicken

A very wise chicken...
For fried chicken lovers, here is a little recipe that should satisfy you. Fried chicken, yes, but in the oven and not in a frying pan or skillet filled with oil. And I assure you, this is really cool! No more frying smells in the kitchen or on clothes, no more grease splatter everywhere around the stove, no more endless minutes in front of the frying pan or frying pan watching the chicken cook.

With this method of cooking in the oven, the chicken cooks calmly and judiciously. What a taste! This oven fried chicken is really tasty, seasoned with skill. And of course like any fried chicken it should be: juicy and juicy on the inside, with a nice golden crust and crunchy on the outside.

*Serves 4-6 people

°8 chicken pieces
°50 g flour (3 tablespoons)
°50 grams of butter or ghee
° 2 teaspoons of sweet pepper
° 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
° 1/2 teaspoon pepper
° 1 teaspoon garlic powder
° 1 teaspoon onion powder
°1/2 teaspoon chili powder

Heat the oven to 220°C.

2- Wash the chicken pieces with lemon water (or vinegar) and dry them with a paper towel. In a deep dish, mix flour, paprika, salt, pepper, hot pepper, onion and garlic powder. Cover the chicken from all sides with the mixture of flour and spices.

3- Put the butter in a shallow baking dish, and place the dish in the oven for a few minutes until the butter melts. When thawed, arrange the chicken pieces in the dish in a single layer (the chicken should not overlap), skin-side down.

4- Bake in the hot oven for 30 minutes at first, then flip and bake for another 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.

5- Place the chicken pieces on absorbent paper before serving warm with any dish of your choice.
