 Beef and barley soup


*ingredients:


° 1 pound boneless roast beef

°1 12 C thinly ​​carrots

° 1 1/2 C celery

° 2/3 C chop onion

° 1 8-oz can ​​mushroom

° 2 tablespoons of beef base (this differs from beef broth as it is the base for making beef broth)

° 8-10 cups of water

° 1 large bay leaf

° 1 cup uncooked pearl barley

° Salt 1/2 teaspoon

° 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

° 1 tablespoon garlic


* instructions:


1. Fry the beef in a non-stick frying pan until brown, stirring constantly.

2. Removing beef from skillet & putting in crockpot, adding carrots, celery, onions, mushrooms, beef base, water, garlic & bay leaf.

3. Simmer over high heat for 1 hour, then add pearl barley, then reduce and cook until vegetables & beef are tender. Blend it with salt // pepper.

4. Discard bay leaves.
