°Caramel corn kernels
°Popcorn 12°C (about 12°C)
°1 c brown sugar
°1/4 c white Karo syrup
°1/2 ton of salt
°1 piece of real butter
°1/2 ton of baking soda
°1 ton vanilla
* Directions :
Put the popcorn in a very large bowl; Sit aside. Put the brown sugar, Karo syrup, salt and butter in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is nice and bubbling.
Remove the caramel from the heat and add the baking soda and vanilla, you will get all the foam.
Pour the mixture over the sprouted corn and toss well until the popcorn is completely covered.
At this point, you can leave it as is with some nice, pressed caramel corn or you can bake it to make it delicious and crunchy. For a crunchy caramel corn, bake on an oiled baking sheet at 225 degrees for about 1 hour, turning every 15 minutes, or until desired level of crispiness.
