Delicious Fried Cabbage and Bacon


°1 chopped cabbage
°1 chopped onion
°2 tsp. minced garlic
°5 slices of chopped bacon (reserve the bacon fat)
°½ tsp. onion powder
°½ tsp. garlic powder
°Salt and pepper to taste

The first step:
Start by frying the bacon. When done, set it aside and let it cool. cut into small pieces.
The second step:
Save the bacon.
Using the reserved bacon fat, in a cast iron skillet, saute the chopped onions until they turn brown.
Third step:
Next, add the chopped garlic to the cast iron. Cook for 30 seconds.
Reduce the heat to medium low. Then add the cabbage, mix and add a lid to the pan.
The fourth step:
Let the mixture cook until the cabbage is soft and tender.
Once the cabbage is done, add the spices, salt, and pepper.
Fifth step:
Finally, finish the dish by adding bacon on top.
