Slow Cooker Baked Ziti


°1 pound of well-cooked lean beef
°2 jars of Italian pasta sauce
°1-16 oz can of Benny
°15 ounces ricotta cheese
°15 oz tomato paste
°2 eggs
°Half a cup of basil
°2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
°1 cup freshly grated mozzarella cheese

* instructions:

The first step:
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, beaten eggs, and basil. mix well

In another bowl, combine tomato sauce and 2 packages of pasta sauce

The second step:
Grease the inside of the slow cooker

Add 2 cups of sauce to the pot

Third step:
Add about ⅓ and uncooked pasta

Put spoonfuls of ricotta cheese on top and distribute as evenly as possible

The fourth step:
Sprinkle 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the ricotta

Put a layer of minced meat on top

Add the remaining sauce to the meat

Fifth step:
Add 2 cups of sauce

Then put a layer of raw pasta

Another layer of ricotta spoons, spread evenly

Sixth step:
Sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan cheese over the ricotta

Put the last of the pasta on top of the Parmesan cheese

Pour the rest of the sauce on top

Seventh step:
Cover the slow cooker and cook on the high setting for 2 to 3 hours, until the saucepan is done

During the last few minutes of cooking time, sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and let it melt

Served with crunchy garlic bread
