Magic Lemon Pie

I suggest you put a little magic in your kitchen with this magic lemon pie! If you follow this blog, you certainly already know the magic cake: with a single preparation, you get 3 layers after baking.


°Egg 4
°Sugar 150g
°Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
°lemon 1
°Milk 50 cl
°Melted butter 100 g
°Flour 110g
°Salt 1 pinch
°Egg white 2
°Sugar 90g

* Methods:

1-Preheat the oven to 150°C.
2-Heat the milk with the lemon zest until lukewarm.
3-Mix the egg yolks with the sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon juice until the mixture whitens. Add the melted butter to the mixture, then the flour and salt and whisk.
4-Add the milk with the zest and mix well.
5-Whip the egg whites until stiff and gently fold them into the mixture with a spatula. Mix gently with a whisk so that the preparation is homogeneous.
6-Gently pour the batter into a round mold about 25 cm in diameter, previously covered with baking paper.
Cook no more, no less than 50 minutes. Otherwise your cake may not hold or a layer may disappear. Let the cake cool before unmolding.
To finish
For the meringue, beat the egg whites until stiff, slowly add the sugar while continuing to whisk. Spread the meringue on top of the cake and brown it with a torch. And for even more magic: Sprinkle a few little sugar stars! ★★★
