Fried Salmon Patties


°1  canned salmon
°1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
°1/4 cup cornmeal
°1/4 cup flour
°1 egg
°3 tablespoons mayonnaise


Opening salmon & drain well. Placing drained salmon in a mix bowl & crumble equally with a fork. Adding onion, cornmeal, flour, mayonnaise & egg. Stirring to well mixed.
Shape mixture into patties the size of a medium burger or smaller. Cooking in oil in a skillet on medium heat to golden on every side. Turning once while fry.
Note: The mayonnaise helps the patties hold their shape also prevents them from being too dry.
