TEXAS TORNADO CAKE




*Ingredients:

+Cake:
°2 c flour
°1 t baking soda
°2 c granulated sugar
°2 eggs
°1 t vanilla extract
°20 oz crush pineapple
Trim:
°1/2 c butter
°1/2 tsp vanilla extract
°2/3 c evaporated milk
°1 cup granulated sugar
°1 c pecans
 °1 c coconut flakes

*Directions:

Preheat oven 350 degrees & greased 9**13″ baking-dish with butter
In a large bowl, combine your flour, sugar, baking soda, eggs, vanilla and crush pineapple
Pour into your pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown
In  saucepan, heat butter, sugar, evaporated milk also vanilla until boiling
Add your pecans and coconut and continue cooking for about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly
Spoon your topping evenly over your cake, slice and enjoy.
